Pond Venture Partners

Pond Venture Partners, the European venture fund investing in early-stage technology, has recently recruited two new key members. Rupert Baines joins as a partner in London, whilst Lei Fu is a new associate in San José. Baines’ background is in the telecoms industry, where his last position was as director of product development at Atlantic Telecom, a pan-European competitive local exchange carrier. He will become the fifth partner in the firm. Lei, based in Silicon Valley and from a research background, has gathered experience in large-scale IT and DSP technologies. His last position was with CIGNA Corporation’s systems division.
