European Court of Justice reduces c
Most companies will now be able to recover VAT on costs of exchange listings and new shares issued. Last month, the European Court of Justice upheld the landmark opinion given by Advocate General Jacobs on 24 February 2005. Companies which have listed or issued shares in the last three years will be eligible to submit claims to HM Revenues & Customs. Most claims are expected to be for costs incurred from due diligence, accounting and legal fees.
