Enterprise Ventures has announced the appointment of Paul Ferguson to its investment management team, as part of its planned ongoing recruitment and expansion. Ferguson has been appointed as an investment manager to the Coalfields Enterprise Fund, a £10m venture capital fund, managed by Enterprise Ventures on behalf of the office of the deputy prime minister. The fund provides equity and equity related funding to new and existing businesses in the former coalfield areas of England. Previously Ferguson recently held the position of investment manager with the North West Equity Fund.
