Brewin Dolphin Securities, the UK portfolio manager and stockbroker, is focusing on a major expansion of its operations in the Midlands following the recruitment of a corporate finance team from Williams de Broë. The new team is comprised of three experienced senior corporate financiers - Ifor Williams, Ian Stanway and Nigel Spedding, who will be based in Brewin Dolphin's Birmingham office. The new team has a solid and longstanding reputation within the industry and the Midlands having advised extensively on flotations, mergers and acquisitions as well as primary and secondary fund raisings. The team focus has primarily been on advising and assisting smaller quoted companies on the Official List, AIM or OFEX.
