David Stern is the new managing partner of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in London. He has 20 years of strategy consulting experience having commenced his career at McKinsey & Co in London in 1983. He joined L.E.K. Consulting LLP in 1986 and was elected a partner in January 1993. Stern has worked across a wide variety of industries providing advice to senior management and boards of leading companies. He has extensive experience of advising both corporate and private equity clients on commercial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, as well as advising clients on strategic issues relating to business portfolios, business performance, growth and expansion. He has an MBA with distinction from INSEAD and a PhD in chemistry and a MA in natural sciences from Cambridge University.
