Strathdon Investment merges with INVESCO techMARK Enterprise Trust
Strathdon Investments Ltd has announced the completion of its merger with INVESCO techMARK Enterprise Trust Plc. The merged entity will be AIM listed and has been renamed Strathdon Investments Plc. As a result of the merger, Strathdon's combined asset base has almost doubled. The new investment mandate now encompasses both quoted and unquoted companies in the technology sector, enabling shareholders to participate in the long-term returns of venture investing combined with the short-term performance and liquidity of a quoted portfolio. The new board comprises representatives from both prior entities, with Strathdon's management team taking on executive management of the enlarged group. The new entity will have a close working relationship with INVESCO Asset Management which will continue to manage the quoted portfolio and provide ongoing marketing services to the group.
