3i releases full year figures
3i has reported that it has generated a total return of £531m to the year ending 31 March 2004, representing 18.1% of opening shareholders funds. During the 12 months, 3i made £979m of investments including investments from co-investment funds. The business realised investments worth £923m, generating capital profits of £228m. Equity realisations were up 58% over the 12 months. Reductions in provisions and down rounds were down to £143m and £70m respectively from £379m and £361m in 2003 results. Revenue was reported at £139m and full-year dividends were up 3.7% to 14p.
