Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP) has announced the promotion of Laurel Bowden from principal to general partner and the appointment of its CFO/COO Michael Carus to general partner with immediate effect. With the close of JVP IV, its $400m fund, JVP has now completed the fund’s senior leadership team. From the London office, Laurel Bowden will manage JVP’s European investments specializing in communications software, enterprise software and enterprise networking technologies. As general partner, Bowden will take a leading role in sourcing deals and expanding JVP’s presence throughout Europe. Based in New York, Michael Carus has served as JVP’s CFO and COO supervising the execution and administration of the firm’s financial and operational activities across JVP’s three offices in New York, London and Jerusalem. Carus will be seeking new investment opportunities in the enterprise, networking and communications software sectors.
