Foresight Technology VCT

Foresight Technology VCT has announced the appointment of a new finance director. Gary Fraser, joins from Isis Asset Management Plc where he was responsible for the provision of company secretarial services for several investment companies including two Baronsmead VCTs. Fraser is a chartered accountant and a member of the Securities Institute. He worked with Ernst & Young between 1993 and 1999, mostly in the audit, risk assurance and corporate finance areas. He joined ISIS Asset Management plc in 1999. Other recent senior hires include David Hughes and Andrew Page who joined from Advent Venture Partners as a partner and investment manager respectively. In July, Foresight announced that it was taking over the combined management of the two Advent VCTs. The Advent acquisition was the first step in Foresight doubling both the size of its team and its funds under management.
