HgCapital
HgCapital has announced that directors, Nic Humphries, based in London, and Martin Block, based in Frankfurt, have been elected to the partnership. Humphries joined HgCapital in 2001 and is head of HgCapital's technology investment team. He has fourteen years experience of the private equity industry, previously with Geocapital Partners, Barclays Private Equity and 3i Plc. In July 2004, Humphries led the £102m buyout of IRIS Software and the $400m IPO of Xyratex on NASDAQ. He is also a director on the boards of Axiom, Rolfe & Nolan, IRIS Software and Xyratex.
