Benchmark Capital has announced that Ynon Kreiz has joined the firm as a general partner of its European funds in London. Kreiz’s role will be to lead Benchmark's strategy to expand its investment portfolio into media. He was previously chairman of the board of management, president and CEO of Fox Kids Europe, which he founded in October 1996. FKE was listed on the Euronext Stock Exchange in Amsterdam in November 1999. Kreiz resigned from his position at Fox Kids Europe in December 2002 and remained affiliated with Saban Capital Group. He recently joined the supervisory board of German broadcasting group ProSiebenSat1, which was acquired by Saban Capital Group together with a group of private equity investors.
