Hicks Muse (Europe) becomes Lion Capital
Hicks Muse (Europe) has been renamed Lion Capital, finalising the firm's separation from US-based Hicks Muse Tate & Furst which took place in January. John Muse, who remains based in Texas and is one of the founders of the US group, will be non-executive chairman of Lion Capital. The newly-named group is in the process of raising a E800m to E1bn European buyout fund.
