Barclays Capital

Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays bank, has announced the appointment of David Shaw as director in the financial sponsor coverage team, where his responsibilities will primarily cover UK origination opportunities. Shaw joins from UBS Warburg, where he was an executive director in its leveraged finance group. His earlier career also includes three years (1989-1992) at The First National Bank of Chicago and three years at NatWest (1986-1989).
