At the recent London Business Awards 2004, GP Capital was awarded with the accolade of 'Firm of the Year'. The competition was judged by leading business executives including Sir Peter Davis, former chairman of J Sainsbury Plc, and Lord Marshall of Knightsbridge, chairman of British Airways Plc, amongst others. The award went to the corporate finance boutique in recognition of its rapid growth, pivotal role in offering fundraising and merger & acquisition advice to high growth companies and its success in launching innovative services. Since forming in 2001, the company has helped close an impressive 23 deals in the UK. GP Capital works with leading technology and media companies in the £1-50m arena.
