KMPG poaches 16 from Deloitte private equity team
KPMG has recruited four partners and 12 professionals specialising in private equity, from rival Deloitte, to strengthen its buyout operation. Rustom Kharegat, Helen Pratten, Robert Ohrenstein and John Oldcorn have joined the group as partners, with Kharegat as head of large leveraged buyouts. The team, which formed part of Deloitte's financial due diligence business, worked on several high profile deals including Voyager Pubs, Debenhams and Gala Bingo. KPMG will be looking to capitalise on the teams strong relationships with larger European buyout houses such as Cinven and Permira.
