Hermes Private Equity (HPE), is pleased to announce the appointment of Justin Ward as a director. Ward joins from CVC where he spent over seven years, most recently as an investment director, working on a range of mid-market and large UK and European buyouts. Prior to that, he worked as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen in their London and Paris offices focusing on tax and corporate finance. He graduated from Aston University with a BSc in International Business and Modern Languages. HPE now has nearly £1bn committed to private equity, both as an active investor in external private equity partnerships, and through its own significant direct investment activity.
