Espotting
Espotting Media, a portfolio company of Beringea, has extended its deal with freenet, a leading internet-telecommunications companies in Germany. Under the new deal Espotting's top five German listings appear on freenet search result pages under the heading ‘Sponsored Links’. The deal is an extension of Espotting's 13-month-old relationship with freenet, under which Espotting results are integrated into freenet's content pages. freenet is one of Germany's leading sites, reaching more than 6.75 million users every month. Espotting operates an online marketplace where advertisers bid against each other for prominence within search listings that Espotting delivers. The higher an advertiser bids, the higher that advertiser is listed. Espotting currently has over 20,000 advertisers including British Airways, Norwich Union Direct, eBay and Lastminute.com. Espotting currently services 10 European territories including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.
