Granville Baird Capital Partners has announced the appointment of Kane Pirie as director and head of its Manchester office. Pirie has been based at Granville Baird Capital Partners' German operation since 2001, where he was responsible for the generation of dealflow, as well as the negotiation and completion of investment opportunities. Specifically, he was responsible for Granville Baird Capital Partners' investments in Hahl, Nobis and Balzac Coffee. Previously Pirie advised on buyout transactions with KPMG Corporate Finance in the UK and then Germany, where he established and led KPMG´s national private equity services.
