Freeth Cartwright LLP has strengthened its corporate finance team with the promotion of Phil Baigent to corporate finance partner. Baigent joined Freeth Cartwright in January 2000. Prior to joining the firm he trained at another major regional firm and spent two years post-qualification as an assistant solicitor in their corporate department. Baigent has acted for Bank of Scotland, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds TSB Bank and recently worked on the multi-million pound sale of the poultry business of G W Padley Poultry to Chicago-based international food group OSI.
