Management takes over at Yorkshire Enterprise
The management of Yorkshire Enterprise Ltd, the Leeds-based holding company of the Yorkshire Enterprise Group, has taken over the interest previously held by the five local authorities of West Yorkshire: Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield. Clive Leach, Phil Cammerman, Peter Claydon and Alan Davies are the company’s executive directors.The vendors were advised by PKF’s Clive Brook and his accountancy team and by Brabners Chaffe Street’s Terry Flanagan in legal issues. The restructured business received financial backing from The Co-operative Bank under the lead of Kevin Watson. The management received advise from Stuart Cottee of Deloitte & Touche and from Jim Gervasio of solicitors Keeble Hawson. The Co-operative Bank were advised on financial terms by Donnie Darroch of Baker Tilly and on legal terms by Chris Ramage of Cobbetts.The Yorkshire Enterprise Group manages the investment firm Yorkshire Fund Managers Ltd and the consultancy and business development firm Yorkshire Company Services Ltd. The group was originally founded by the former West Yorkshire Metropolitan County Council at the end of 1982.
