Gresham
Mills' permanent appointment to the Gresham investment team follows a temporary assignment to Gresham in the summer of 2003, where he was part of the London team that led an initial £6.6m funding package for the IT services business, 2escape2. The promotion of Tim Whittard to investment manager comes after three years at Gresham, during which time he has worked on a number of investments including the £4.3m investment in Blue Group and Gresham's £28m investment in Caradon Plumbing. Whittard previously worked at Bridgepoint Capital and PricewaterhouseCoopers, including a secondment to Paris. Gresham's investment team now comprises 16 people in total across its London, Birmingham and Manchester offices.
