Corbett Keeling
Corbett Keeling has recently expanded its team with three new appointments. John Herring has worked in corporate finance for the last 20 years. He was a corporate finance director at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and, more recently, at Smith & Williamson. Herring has extensive experience of mergers and acquisitions and fund-raising through flotations and private equity. He is also a director of a number of listed and unlisted companies, including JD Wetherspoon plc, the managed pub operator, and Kensington Group plc, the mortgage provider. Jamie McGrigor has worked in consulting for the last 20 years, the first six of which were with Bain & Co. Since then, he has focused on both financial advisory and general consulting activities. Two years ago, McGrigor started his own consulting firm providing general consultancy in the healthcare and financial services sector. He continues to run that firm, and will work with Corbett Keeling on assignments which require financial advice as opposed to general consulting. Robert Murphy commenced his career as an analyst with James Capel and then qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte Touche. He subsequently spent 17 years in the software and IT service sector as an investment, corporate development and managing director. He has been involved extensively in raising private equity, mergers and acquisitions, flotations and arranging successful exits for backers, as well as strategic and general management. The three new additions will boost Corbett Keeling's team to a total of nine people.
