HgCapital, the new name for Mercury Private Equity, has announced two appointments. Leonard Licht, a former vice-chairman at Mercury Asset Management, joins the company as chairman. After leaving MAM, Licht became a deputy chairman at Jupiter Tyndall plc. Hg’s media team, established this January under Nick Martin, has been strengthened with the appointment of Robin Lincoln as associate director. Lincoln joins from Friends Ivory & Sime Private Equity, where he specialised in the media industry.
