Baronsmead VCT 4 embarks on new fundraising
Baronsmead VCT 4, managed by lSIS Equity Partners, was launched in December 2001 and to date has raised £23m. The Company intends to continue to raise funds steadily over the next few months with the aim of reaching the original investment target of £30m. Baronsmead VCT 4 co-invests alongside the top-rated Baronsmead family of three other generalist VCTs. Philip Dunne, Chairman of Baronsmead VCT 4, indicated that Investors had subscribed £2m since late November 2003 and the fund had launched our current offer some two weeks ahead of schedule. This fundraising will provide the capital to increase the number of investments to 40 or more in a diversified portfolio of mainly established and profitable companies.
