Quester expects to raise £20m for fifth VCT
Quester has announced its intention to reopen its fifth venture capital trust. The new issue, which will open in the autumn, expects to raise an additional £20m on top of the £24m already raised. Quester VCT5 will invest in a diversified portfolio of companies weighted towards sectors in which Quester's management team has particular expertise and a strong deal flow - information and communication technologies, and healthcare and life sciences. Since its initial launch in 2001, Quester VCT5 has built a portfolio comprising six AIM and 17 unquoted investments. These include companies such as Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc, Anadigm Limited and Antenova Limited.
