Gresham Trust

Gary Ward has joined the Birmingham office of Gresham Trust as head of business development for the regions. He will have special responsibility for building direct relationships with management teams and owners of companies, particularly in the Midlands and the North. For the past four years, Ward has been head of deal origination for the Midlands region of PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Equity team. He led a team at the firm in carrying out financial analysis of corporates nationwide to identify investment opportunities. He was also responsible for PwC’s MBI programme, which worked with a select number of senior executives in their search for suitable private equity transactions.
