Cambridge Venture Partners is found
The Cambridge University Challenge Fund has combined with 3i, Amadeus Capital Partners, Avlar BioVentures, IDG Ventures, Porton Capital and TTP Ventures to launch Cambridge Venture Partners. It is intended that the new entity will provide greater commercial opportunities for the university's researchers, as well as offer substantial benefits to early-stage businesses set up to exploit university innovations in technology.
