DB Capital has announced the appointment of Graeme Johnson and Carlo Pirzio-Biroli to its private equity fund-of-funds team. The pair will be establishing a London office for the fund-of-funds group with responsibility for non-US fundraising, structuring and investing activities. Johnson was previously employed with AXA-AIG Private Equity fund-of-funds before moving to LGT Capital Partners in 2000 and subsequently Adveq. Pirzio-Biroli was previously a management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group in NewYork, before moving to the corporate initiatives group at General Electric Company in Conneticut. Most recently he was CEO of CDB Web Tech SpA, a US fund-of-funds.
