ECI Partners
ECI Partners has appointed Charlie Johnstone as business development manager. He will work closely with James Stewart, who manages the group's hands-on chairman and management buy-in programmes. Johnstone's role will complement Stewarts' direct origination programme by focusing on intermediaries. He joins ECI from Ernst & Young in London, where he spent seven years. His last year was spent in corporate restructuring focusing on business development with private equity firms. Earlier he advised on fundraising, mergers and acquisitions in the Corporate Finance division. Johnstone has an MA in economics from the University of Edinburgh and holds an ACA.
