Hammond Suddards Edge has announced the promotions of four corporate finance solicitors to partnership level. Joanne Bligh is a private equity specialist who regularly acts for both management and funders on MBOs and MBIs. Katie Silvester is a plc advisory specialist, acting for both corporate clients and financial advisers and has considerable takeover and acquisition and disposal experience. Kamlesh Parmar joined the firm as a trainee in Corporate Finance in 1993. He has worked on a number of high profile transactions including Umbro's sponsorship of the England football kit. Jane Haxby, who also joined the firm as a trainee in 1993, specialises in mergers and acquisitions and public company work, particularly for technology related companies.
