Merseyside Special Investment Fund
MSIF’s largest fund, the £40m Venture Fund, has appointed two new members of staff, Darren Gowling and Simon Thelwall-Jones, as investment managers. Gowling joins from the Wales Innovation Fund, a £6m venture capital fund where he specialised in early-stage and technology investments. Thelwall-Jones joins from Grant Thornton’s West Midlands office where he was head of private equity.
