Institutional investors predict more private equity exits
Robson Rhodes has released a report indicating that institutional investors expect an increase in private equity exit activity over the next six months. 50% of the 40 UK-based institutional investors considered that the number of European private equity exits would increase. 79% of respondents expected to see an increase in secondary buyouts, and 65% found such an exit route favourable. Regarding possible targets, respondents identified both the financial and consumer sectors as possible sources of under-valued companies. Healthcare and telecoms sectors were considered the most over-valued.
