ANGLE Plc has appointed John Holden as associate director, UK Ventures. Holden, who will operate out of ANGLE's Guildford headquarters, will work alongside Stephen Bates, director of UK Ventures. Holden's earlier career includes seven years at 3i, latterly as an investment director in the UK technology team, based in Bristol, London and the Thames Valley. During his time with 3i, he was involved in several successful technology investments, flotations and disposals. Before joining 3i, he was a founding member of European Capital, a start-up corporate and project finance advisory firm in London, now owned by Investec. Holden holds a BA from Durham University and a MBA from Cranfield.
