Deutsche Bank securitises private equity funds
Deutsche Bank has recently issued $279m of bonds backed by cashflows from 65 private equity funds. Standard & Poor's, Moody's and Fitch gave $116m worth of bonds a AAA rating, after the bank put in place a liquidity facility reinsured by Excel, an AA rating to $79m of bonds and a BBB rating to an additional $42m worth.
