Arlett Tygesen has been named as the first executive director of the ILPA, a forum for the promotion of research and best practices within the private equity industry. Tygesen will be be responsible for heading the ILPA as well as its day-to-day management. She has been a senior analyst in the private equity funds group at OMERS (Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System) since 2000, and will now split her time equally between the two organisations.
