Enterprise Ventures

Following the second closing of the RisingStars Growth Fund, Dr Mark Wyatt and Julian Viggars have been appointed as investment managers. Wyatt graduated from Cambridge with a degree in pharmacology and a PhD; he joins Enterprise Ventures from Merlin BioSciences Ltd where he has spent the past six years. Viggars is a chartered accountant and his last appointment was as director of BioProjects International. The E19m fund will be invested in high growth early-stage companies throughout the North West of England. The fund will assist with the companies strategic, technical and market development.
