GP Capital wins 'Firm of the Year' at London Business Awards
GP Capital has won the 'Firm of the Year' accolade at the London Business Awards 2004. Since forming in 2001, the company has helped close an incredible 23 deals in the UK. GP Capital works with leading technology and media companies in the £1-50m arena. The accolade was judged by leading business executives including Sir Peter Davis, former chairman of J Sainsbury Plc, and Lord Marshall of Knightsbridge, chairman of British Airways Plc, amongst others. The event was supported by KPMG, ITV, the Evening Standard and T-Mobile, and is owned and organised by the British Chamber of Commerce. Other awards included Business Innovation and Business Person of the Year, the latter including Philip Green and Rosie Marie Bravo as nominees.
