Intermediate Capital Group
Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) has announced two new fund management marketing appointments. James Barham joins as marketing director of its fund management business and Adam Hayes-Newington as marketing manager. Both Barham and Hayes-Newington join ICG from Liontrust Asset Management Plc. At Liontrust, Barham was one of the founding partners and was Institutional marketing director, a position he held for nine years. Prior to this he was regional sales manager for James Capel Asset Management. Hayes-Newington was institutional marketing manager at Liontrust for four years, and prior to this he was an account manager at Baring Asset Management. The institutional business at Liontrust accounted for nearly 80% of group assets at the time of their departure. At ICG they will be responsible for developing the fund management subsidiary (Intermediate Capital Managers Ltd) leveraging the unique credit culture and strong long-term performance track record at ICG into the pension fund and other institutional markets.
