Biomedical Sciences Investment Fund Management Company

The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) has appointed Dr John Diekman as executive chairman of the Biomedical Sciences Investment Fund Management Company (BMSIF-MC). Diekman is a managing partner at Bay City Capital, a life sciences merchant bank. He is also vice-chairman of Affymetrix, Inc., a Santa Clara based company that develops and markets DNA chip technology for the genetic analysis, genomics, clinical diagnostics and research instrumentation markets. Diekman will provide investment advice and direction for BMSIF, as well as mentorship to the investment team.
