Carlton Corporate Finance
Carlton Financial Group has appointed Alan Wheatley as non-executive vice chairman. Carlton was established in 2004 and is headed by chairman Andrew Taee, deputy chairman George Magan and Ian Reeves. Carlton is a specialist merchant banking business headquartered in London and is the holding company of Carlton Corporate Finance and Carlton Capital Partners. Wheatley was previously the senior partner at Price Waterhouse in London from 1985-1992 and deputy chairman of Cable & Wireless from 1981-1985. He was formerly chairman of the Special Utilities Investment Trust Plc, and a non-executive director of Ashtead Group plc, Legal & General Plc, British Steel Plc, Forte Plc and Babcock International Plc. He is currently chairman of Utilico and two privately owned companies.
