Wilton Asset Management LLC announces final close of fund

Wilton Asset Management LLC, a joint venture between State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) (the investment management arm of State Street Corporation) and Dupont Capital Management Corporation, has announced the final closing of the Wilton Private Equity Fund with over $240m in commitments, including those from public and corporate pension plans, foundations, and high-net-worth investors. The fund will invest in US and international closed-end private equity partnerships targeting LBOs, growth financings, venture capital, and special situations. Since its first closing in February 2001, the Wilton Private Equity Fund has committed over $56m to four private equity partnerships and one direct investment.
