Hammonds
Nick Allen, head of corporate law at Hammonds, has stepped down after three years in the role and is to be replaced by William Downs. Allen will remain with the firm but will return to full time fee earning. Downs , who currently heads up Hammonds' energy and utilities group, will take over the head of corporate firm-wide and also hold onto his old brief. It is likely he will be relocated from Manchester to London.
