Change of fund name for Carlyle Group
Washington-based private equity investor Carlyle Group has announced a change of name for its European fund, Carlyle Internet Partners Europe. The fund will now be known as Carlyle Europe Venture Partners. Carlyle reports that the change is being made for reasons of internal consistency, in order to bring the fund name in line with Carlyle Venture Partners, which operates in the US, and Carlyle Asia Venture Partners.
