In the last edition of unquote we incorrectly stated that Guy Eastman had joined Permira, the new name for Schroder Ventures Europe, whereas in fact he has joined the private equity fund-of-funds operation Schroder Ventures (London) Ltd. Eastman has joined as a director of SVLL and Schroder’s new fund-of-funds investment vehicles. SVLL launched its first fund-of-funds in September (8 October 2001, page 4).
