SJ Berwin

Nick Terras will join law firm SJ Berwin in November 2003 as partner in the banking department. Terras is specialising in structured finance transactions, including securitisations, repackagings and derivatives. He will also advise on the formation of venture capital, private equity and hedge funds as well as other investment structures. Most recently Terras worked at Withers, where he set up the firm's hedge fund practise. Prior to that he worked at Allen & Overy in the Commercial Trusts and Partnership group after spending seven years practising at the bar on the application of off-shore funds, trusts and partnerships in the structuring of commercial finance transactions.
