AIB Capital Markets has boosted its UK acquisition finance team with the appointment of two senior managers, both with experience in leveraged debt transactions. Sean Duffy joins the AIB team from ING Acquisition Finance having formerly worked at The Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co. Ltd, where he was responsible for the assessment of new buyout opportunities. John Silcox joins from HSBC, having spent five years in a variety of roles, most recently as associate director in the London-based specialised finance team, where he was responsible for completing mid-market leveraged transactions.
