Christoph Waltenspuel has been appointed as partner in Ernst & Young’s Energy, Chemicals & Utilities corporate finance practice. Previously, Waltenspuel spent 13 years with Union Bank of Switzerland, where he was head of managing director and global head of utilities investment banking. Prior to his Ernst & Young appointment he was vice president in charge of retail activities in the German-speaking market with Enron.

Stephane Piotte has joined Ernst & Young’s London office as an executive within the corporate finance/private equity team. Prior to this appointment, Piotte spent five years with the Ernst & Young office in Montreal, specialising in assurance and compliance engagements within the technology, communications and entertainment sector.

Glenda Reynolds has joined Ernst & Young’s London office as an executive within the corporate finance team. Reynolds joins from Ernst & Young’s office in Edinburgh where she qualified as a chartered accountant in the audit department before transferring to corporate finance.
