Bank of Scotland Corporate Banking
Bank of Scotland Corporate has announced the appointment of Mike Gillespie as director of integrated and acquisition finance for the North of England. He will lead the bank's deal teams in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle and will be based in Manchester. Gillespie has 16 years of experience with Bank of Scotland, with seven years out of the past ten in an acquisition finance role supporting the private equity community on a number of high profile transactions. He moved to integrated finance in London in 2001 and completed several deals including The Edinburgh Woollen Mill secondary buyout. Immediately prior to his move to Manchester, Gillespie co-led the newly formed integrated and acquisition finance team in the South of England. In this new role Donald will develop and manage relationships with large corporate clients in the North West.
