VCT Market feeling strain of technology fallout
It has been reported that several VCTs are struggling to raise the minimum amount needed to start investing, in the ongoing fallout from the technology boom and bust. Pathway One VCT, launched at the end of last year (11 December 2001, page 10) has apparently terminated fundraising after having failed to reach its floor of £1.05m. Other VCTs reported to be struggling are Gartmore Premier VCT, managed by Gartmore Investment Ltd (22 October 2001, page 10), and ISIS Technology VCT, managed by ISIS Capital (8 October 2001, page 10).
