Insight Investment

The asset manager of HBOS plc, Insight Investment, has recruited Nigel Wittingham from Edinburgh Fund managers as managing director of its multi-manager business. Wittingham, 48, has spent the last ten years at Edinburgh Fund Managers, initially as marketing director of its unit trust businesses, then as joint managing director and moving to his current role as group business development director in 1996. His earlier career spans a wide range of major financial service companies in the UK and South Africa. Expected to join Insight in May, Wittingham will report to deputy chief executive Gary Mairs.
